VillaRules

  • SMOKING
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside any home. A minimum of $1,000 will be charged to your security deposit for additional cleaning and services if there is any evidence of smoking during your stay or during the departure inspection.

  • FURNITURE
We know you’re probably in great shape after all those trips to the resort gym, but please refrain from moving beds or any other furniture in order to avoid injuries or damages. Our housekeepers will be unable to reposition furniture to its original position, and we’ll need to hire crews to move it instead—which will result in a deduction from your security deposit.

  • TOILETS
To avoid blockages and overflow, only flush toilet tissue. DO NOT flush any of the following: baby wipes, cotton swabs, diapers, personal hygiene products, plastic wrappers, excessive toilet tissue or kitchen paper towels. Instead, please discard them in waste receptacles.  If the system appears to be clogged, try to clear the blockage with the plunger provided and stored in the laundry room, before calling Villatel. The cost of a maintenance call due to misuse will be charged to the guest.

  • GARBAGE
Trash bins are located at the side of your home, and trash collection services run every day.

    • Please secure general household trash in a proper white or black trash bag and place each bag inside the bench outside your front door.

    • We kindly ask that you avoid disposing of trash in plastic grocery bags.

    • Please note that the bin must be closed for the trash to be collected. This resort does not offer recycling services so please throw away all recycling along with the trash.

PARTIES
Unless you’ve received prior written approval, parties and large gatherings are not allowed on the premises. Any such event will result in immediate eviction from the home by local authorities.

QUIET HOURS
Between 10pm and 8am, when your fellow neighbors are trying to wind down and get some zzz’s, please do your best to be mindful of excess noise. Singing in your shower is totally cool. Banging drums from the rooftop, not so much. Repeated offenses may result in immediate eviction from the home by local authorities.

PETS
We all love our furry friends, but ask that you leave them at home during your stay, as we need to be considerate of future guests with potential allergies. Guests who bring a pet of any kind onto the premises will incur a minimum of a $1,000 fine in addition to a deep-cleaning fee upon departure.

INSECTS & PEST CONTROL
Insects are common in tropical climates like here in Florida, but we get that you may not be looking to bunk with bugs during your vacay. So we ensure that every Villatel home undergoes a monthly pest control treatment. If you experience a particular ongoing problem, contact our office and we’ll arrange for a Pest Control Technician to pay your home a visit. Please be assured that all products used are safe for children and guests with allergies!

POOL AREA RULES
Your villa features a beautiful private pool. Rule #1: Enjoy it throughout your stay! Some other rules that we insist you observe for the sake of your safety:

  • No Diving
These pools are not designed for, nor deep enough, for diving

  • No Running on the Pool Deck
When the surface gets wet it gets slippery and falling could cause serious injury or death

  • No Glass on the Pool Deck
Broken glass in the pool area is dangerous and can cause injury. Broken glass cannot be seen in the water and will result in draining of the pool, an inability to use for several days, and a large bill for those responsible.

  • Child Supervision in Pool Area
Please SUPERVISE ALL CHILDREN while swimming

POOL TOWELS

All homes are stocked with colorful towels for pool use, in contrast to the villa’s white bathroom towels. We ask that you refrain from taking the white towels outside to the pool area.
